His name is Kavidu
He is just 6 months old
He was born with a cleft lip and palate

Little Kavidu was born in a hospital in Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka to his proud parents. His dad works hard husking coconuts and selling them at the local market. Kavidu has a lovely family and is a deserving little infant.

His dad earns 450 rupees per day (USD $4 or GBP £3). He works 60 hours per week looking for people to buy the coconuts then husking and selling coconuts. Husking is done one by one and takes time. His mum cannot work as she has to take care little Kavidu.

They can only just afford to pay for their food and bills.
