His name is Rakindu
He is just 7 months old
He was born with a cleft lip and palate

Little Rakindu was born in a hospital in Kadawatha, Sri Lanka to his proud parents. His dad works hard in his vegetable stall. Rakindu has a lovely family and is a deserving little infant.

His dad sells vegetables and earns 450 rupees per day (USD $4 or GBP £3). He works 60 hours per week settling up his stall and selling vegetables. His mum cannot work as she has to take care little Rakindu.

They can only just afford to pay for their food and bills.
