His name is Pathum
He is just 7 months old
He was born with a cleft lip and palate

Baby Pathum was born in a hospital in Negombo a fishing village in Sri Lanka to his proud parents. His dad is a hard working fisherman. Pathum is the 3rd child born to this lovely family and is a deserving little infant.

His dad earns 350 rupees per day (USD $3 or GBP £2). He leaves his family at night and returns in the early hours to sell his catch which is divided among the other fisherman on the boat. His mum cannot work as she has to take care little Pathum and his older siblings.
